Whose shaun whose shaun whose shaun !? Mr Cheong must be heartbroken.

His shaun doesnt even know who he is .

What I really want to see is the picture of Gina and Mr Desouza---- remember how retarded she looked, grinning manically and making victory signs next to her "Shaun"? ( who didnt even know that he was being posed with!?) Everyone was laughing like mad.

It is extremely disturbing, when all 10 of us run to our seniors, in joy and innocence, only to find that our seniors run away shrieking when seeing us charge at them .

IHG...HADLEY DIDNT WIN gakk.

All the male teachers were acting macho and competing .

I suspect that they were trying to relieve their younger army days. It was hilarious.

Richard won by 200 points..thank Mr Lau for that...HOW COULD YOU MR LAU!?!

He was a permanent fixature in the range for one hour, having shot fanatically in the hopes of beating his previous, previous previous, previous previous previous, etc etc scores...and consequentially shot about 300 points in total for Richard.

NON-RICHARSONIANS OF RGSHOOTING UNITE ! Haha jkjk congrats Richard for winning. Enthu teachers make enthusiastically large point divides between houses...

And on a side note, Mengshi claims that I will have four husbands, four b***bs, etc etc. I would like to remind all of you that palmistry is a debated upon science and has as much truth as my analysis of her palm.

According to my amazing palmistry skills, Mengshi will take the vow of celibacy at age 16, become a nun, elope with a monk, and henceforth turn into a monk bearing a remarkable resemblance to Yuqing's monk.

I will leave it upon you to decide whether or not palmistry is a good science or not.

Mengshi would also like all of you to beware of the Moogly Woogly Syndrome, something which is internationally recognized as a literacy problem. Apparently, " q ", when transposed onto a "w", becomes a vowel. Interesting, I think...

Xiaoting and I were teaching the rest how to fold roses.

Sadly, none of them ever managed to master the fine art of attaching the cloth to the stalk before folding it. Guess who ended up having to do all the attaching for the rest of them. =.=

" OMG where the heck is the flower !?!?! Damn, it dropped off. "

( Proof of someone's brilliant attaching skills. lol! They never really got the hang of attaching roses to stalks. Learn from the master, learn from the master :)

Our flowers were so hot! Our batch is artistically talented. Even though they were terrible at attaching the cloth to the stalk, they totally rocked at folding. :D

Then Siyun kept walking around giggling and going " Let's go for a lehhhhhhsurely stroll because it's raining !!" , while trying to drag people outside with her.

Regina's eyes popped out and she looked aghast.

" LESBIANLY STROLL!?!?" She choked out.

Gina started nodding her head happily and insisted that she heard " lesbianly" too.

Siyun needed somewhere to direct her energy to. She jumped up and started dancing around while the rest of us ROFLMAOed. By the way, if you didnt know what ROFLMAO means ( like me ), it simply stands for " Rolling on the floor laughing my ass off."

I would post a picture as an example of ROFLMAOing, but I dont think that Gina would want her lucky boxer shorts displayed on my blog. I think that they're famous. As in, Gina's lucky boxer shorts.

Xiaoting got bored and started being lame. Like so.

" WEEE MUST BEEE UNITED ! LIKE CHOPSTICKS ! BECAUSE ONE BUNCH OF CHOPSTICKS CANT BE BROKEN ! MUAHAHAH!"

..and of course Yuqing had to make sure that Xiaoting was telling the truth..LOL..couldn't resist

I'll now be a sad person with no life and tell you that the one holding the stalk was me ! yay.

Then Xiaoting takes in interest in breaking chopsticks. I was dying of laughter .

Now xiaoting decides to finish her sentence."...but if it's one chopstick it'll be damn easy to break !"

" OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! HOW COME CANNOT BREAK !?!HOWWW COMEEE CANOOOTTT BREAAAAAAKK!?!?! OH NOOOOOOOOOOOO"

" NVM ! Let's try cutting it. maybe it'll break then."

" WE BROKE IT !" ( cry of triumph after ten minutes )

Yay we broke it! NOw we're all no lifers ! taking pride..in such a noble sacrifice :D

Remember, the curry flavored roses were made by Xiaoting !

Xiaoting is ownage. She tried to pin the rose properly and ended up...making the pin bounce into...guess what...now we've even got the curry flavored pins. The whole curry collection !

Have you all read Rachel's email? It'a about IHG shooting :D YAY. Ours is on the 4th of August, the students' one is on the 31st July, and the teachers one will be on the 28th of July.

From the email:

Flow of events on that day:
3pm to 3.30pm – shooting members will be given a short briefing and set up the range
3.30pm to 5.30pm – participants start arriving
Registration  Queue up and short briefing  Shoot
5.30pm to 6.30 – cleaning up

Duty Roster for IHG Shooting 2008
Date: 28th July and 31st July
Time: 3.00pm to 6.00pm
Venue: School shooting range
Attire: Shooting t-shirt with PE shorts (do not wear house t-shirt so that it is easier
for participants to identify the shooting members)

The jobscope and your duty is in the email itself; and I shant put it here because I think it's easier to read in email. And you're probably opening your inboxes anyway so . :D

I'll ask rachel if we can change the farewell date; or does someone else want to ask her? We shall see depending on who sees her first.

After all, Mr Cheong is leaving next wednesday. He'll stop being our teacher i/c from next wednesday, but he'll still be in Rgs. Next wednesday is the 30th JULY ; our farewell is on the 6th of AUGUST.

Either way; the party'll be after his actual leaving.

The sec fours should be there because it's their last year; and we cant exactly force them to come when we know that they have their PT due the next day.

They'll be worrying about it and might have to sleep later. Let's change the date of the farewell party then.

P.S Xiaoting , why is the party on the 6th? Is there some special event or some calender that we have to adhere to? :D

Oh and for updates on the sec 2's rose-making. We made a whole lot of pink and blue roses, and many many corsage-like , wiry rose things. We had a great time seriously and I'll try to post all the retarded photos by tonight ( if I can figure out how to connect .)

I can be in charge of the photographs which I have taken during the Nationals Shooting Prize Presentation Day. I have already sent them for developing this afternoon... I'll enlarge some of the photos when I pick them up tomorrow. I should be able to get it done and bring it to the range on coming Friday.

I will do up the background and heading (i.e. the wonderful huge word RGSHOOTING CLUB) on the notice board too. Please throw in constructive ideas, if you have any.

I hope that you've all read Mrs Tay's email . It's really important.

Dear all,

Members who have yet to indicate your interest in participating in the overseas training in China are to notify me via email by this Friday.

2007 school team members, please see me to collect last year's t-shirt money.on Mon(21/7) in the range at 12.00pm.

Please take note of the training schedule.

Non-school team:

The range will only be open on 21 July (Monday,12.00-3.00pm), 23 July (Wednesday, 2.30-5.30pm) and on 24 July (Thursday, 3.00-6.00pm) next week. You are expected to attend at least one training session next week.

However, the range will be open from Monday to Friday from 28 July onwards where you will be expected to attend training at least twice a week.

School team:

Please note that the prize presentation ceremony is on 24 July. Prize winners are to bring their medals to school and hand them to the teachers-in-charge on 22 July (Tuesday).

Those of you who have booked lanes in June can submit your receipts to either me or Mr Teo by next Friday 25 July.

Training will resume from 28 July.

Those who had taken any photos on the prize presentation day in Safra, please submit to me for the compilation of the year book.

Heyo! URGENT URGENT.

Liyan just messaged me; apparently, RJ just messaged her:

" Hey sincere apologies. Um we are planning to make the dinner only for rj shooters to allow more time for us to bond."

So that means that we are now , free to organise our own rgshooting dinner, ( due to unfortunate circumstances)

Liyan apologises for not being able to be there, as she'll be at a science competition, so she's leaving us to organize it.

So, the main question is, where are we holding it? I think that most people have already said yes to dinner, regardless of rg or rj, so now its more of dinner.

Do you want to go to northpoint, or jack's place? Or suggest something !

I take it that most people will not be very informed of the canceling of the rj dinner , so I guess we'll have to sort it out tomorrow at SAFRA or on the bus.

So- keypoints: rj dinner canceled, new rg dinner, where is the rg dinner, lets talk tomorrow on the bus.

P.S Sufen, sakae sushi is corrupt. decadence. what human kind is doomed to become, raw fish slices ! :) Good luck, Sufen and Liyan, for your science competition !

It's so sad to see Mr Cheong go. Why does everyone leave us so soon? We really should do something for him- after all, he has been a fantastic teacher i/c.

Do you not remember how he brought chocolates for us and told us funny things , as well as paid for some of our meals at Jacks' Place?

I remember how funny he used to be whenever he fell asleep during shooting and would wake up, moaning " This is pure torture" or screaming " IS THERE ANYTHING TO EAT HERE?" .

Maybe we could bind a whole lot of well-shot target cards together, one card for each member, and everyone could write something to him. And we could do the photo thing too, Jiayi

On a lighter note, tomorrow's RJC-RGS-RI dinner( after the prize presentation) will be held at Sakae Sushi, Causeway point. They've already booked it :)

I think that we should go, because it's a RAFFLES CELEBRATION thing and we'd be a bit of a wet blanket to decline their invitation.

After all, it's only once in a while we get to eat with our fellow Rafflesians. We can always eat among ourselves, among us RGSers :D

The ending time is not confirmed yet, but it starts right after the prize presentation.

Do reply to Liyan/Weixian on whether you are going to the dinner tonight, by 10pm, or you will be considered Not Going :)

Oh yes, and YES YES YES Let's do Raffles Cheers! Shooting isnt exactly one of those sports where people start cheering during the competition; now that we have a chance to cheer as The Raffles Schools, let's Just Do It.

Hey Siyun, do you think they'd want to hear our " Say shoo-shoo-shoo" cheer and our " S-H-O-O-T-I-N-G" one?

OH I think it's a good idea :) But does anyone have any idea when Mr Cheong's last day in RGS is?

Perhaps we can take a group picture tomorrow at SAFRA and develop it nice and proper at some Photo shop (Not the Adobe one, but the shops that prints photos....) OR OR OR Yuqing can draw from here :) But remember to stuff Mr Cheong into the picture :) Make sure we remember to do it tomorrow. Oh right, I forgot, we must somehow put Coach in too!

RI - 1st for B-pistol, 2nd for C-pistol
RJC - 1st for A-rifle boys, 2nd for A-pistol girls (These are confirmed and the A-boys pistol and A-girls rifle will be shooting tomorrow)
AND WE GOT....
1st for C-rifle, 2nd for C-pistol and 2nd for B-pistol!!

Haha we're so fantastic :) because we worked so hard together and stayed bonded irregardless of whether we won or not.

Heyo !

I've asked a few people in club, and the general consensus is that we should invite seniors and juniors to post to this blog. :)

Dont worry, by opening this blog up to the rest of the shooting club, we wont lose any batch spirit, nor will it be diluted - instead, we'll spread out the Batch-ten spirit, like Santa Claus. Yes, and since our batch blog is so widely read, the exco can post important notices here;D

I really think that we should bond more with our juniors aka the sec ones, so I've invited their whole batch to blog here too. We want our juniors to get into the spirit of things too!

HAHAHAHA RGSHOOTING OWNS. (This is the understatement of the year)

Definitely, a big thank you to our teachers-in-charge and Coach! And all the support and love which we showered on one another :) And thank you to RGS too.

I was so glad and it was also extremely heartwarming that through this competition, our bondedness has become closer and tighter, not just within the school team but within the entire shooting club. After all, the fact that competition brings the team/club closer is undeniable. We should continue to exemplify this support and encouragement for one another :)

We did a wonderful job this time and KEEP IT UP FOR NATs NEXT YEAR!

yep so the nationals are finally over !

A round of appplause for all our school team members, everyone in RGSHOOTING who supported us, Mr Teo, Mrs Tay, Mr Cheong, and most of all, Coach Li !

WE MUST THANK COACH LI, REALLY. He really did alot for us and under him, we achieved more than we ever did under any other coach ! He's really very dedicated to helping us achieve, so we must thank him.

( I know this sounds rather random, but zhiting just reminded me that coach li is a better coach than coach zhang because we dont really start of sec one shooting with talks about going to olympics, autobiographies, zhang's sad sob stories , shopping trips, etc.

One hour talks that could have been used to train. )

Now that it's finally over, we can breathe properly. Another year before the next nationals come, so ....!

Work hard for the coming months !

And again, thank you for making everyone proud ! As sarah said, this is still one of the tightest ccas around.

P.s Hey. Since Zhiting helped create this blog, let's open this blog out to the rest of the club and spread our bondedness ! ( :D Sarah must be happy, zhiting invited her ! ).

We really should!

I'M SO PROUD OF ALL OF US. WE ROCK.

Today, Rgshooting's rifle cdiv MADE HISTORY. We broke three records ! Well, five , if you count Jiayi and I beating our own personal bests.

Jiayi broke the cdiv individual record and Keinin got third ! We broke the cdiv team record and thrashed everyone else and we beat the second place ( AISS ) team by 22 points ! Yay! Although I wish I could have contributed more (I didnt win any individual prize) ,I did my best and that counts :D

The power of teamwork--

GOGOGO Rgshooting Bdiv and Cdiv pistol ! Let's sweep away all the golds ! Cdiv, we're the most united batch ever and if teamwork beats everything , we should be given special awards or something !
