Well my babies, the verdict is out. The teacher ics advise against creating a shooting jacket this year, as we already have a club t-shirt.
Thank you, everyone, for bonding together in our bid to create a cool jacket ! We did try out best to convince the teachers. Yes, remember my laughable speech in Chinese to Mr Teo. And Siyun prepared the email addresses and contact details. Ah well. We even discussed materials on our tagboard.
I know that this is rather sad, because we’re only advised to create a jacket next year. By then, the sec 4s will be gone. BUT NO FEAR ! SUPERMAN IS HERE ! okay okay . We can send the jackets to them in RJC. Weixian said that . So no one who was involved in the original plan will be left out. And we have FRESH BLOOD ! New Sec ones coming in next year can get cool looking jackets too ! Oh great.I sound like a Orc.
So. Where do we go from here?
It’s not over yet. Mr Teo advises us to find sponsors in our creation of the jackets to make them cheaper. That’s one thing we can do. FIND SPONSORS. ( * Jiayi’s mother is not an option, Gina.) Let’s try and find the coolest sponsors we can. I do not want to walk around wearing a jacket that has COLD STORAGE or THE FRESH FOOD PEOPLE printed on it in terrifyingly big letters.
Let’s search for sponsors. Step one !
And Mrs Tay said that the club t-shirt, which was created in February, took an insanely long time to be approved , printed, verified, etc etc. It’s only coming out in July or June. If we start designing early, we might be able to get it verified in the early half-year of 2009.
Oh, and Weixian has revived the old yahoogroups. She said that she will be polling for responses to this jacket-creation matter soon. Join the yahoogroups please. Make life easier !
Why do I ONLY SEE THREE MEMBERS IN RGSC YAHOOGROUPS ? WHY. Anwer me. WHY? WHY? MY BABIES !
And lets all put our hearts together ( with superglue) and hope that this blog isn’t going to shrivel up and die like some class blogs.
And, by the way, Sufen tells us not to eat French fries. Quoting her, they are “ decadent” and “representations of what humanity is going to become.” Mengshi further supported her point by pulling out a curled up French fry that was all wrinkled, shriveled, and dead-looking. I can attest to that.
Oh my. I can’t feel my left foot. Excuse me while I proceed to emulate the easter bunny’s actions and hop around while trying to recover feeling in my foot again.
